THIS WAY WE CAN TRY TO DO SOMTHING FOR OUR COUNTRY....

Trees around us makes us very happy because they make life more pleasant. Most of us respond to the presence of trees simply observing their beauty. We feel serene, peaceful, restful, and tranquil in grove of trees.
So, it is our responsibility to protect our forest and also encourage others to plant trees at least one in a month and help to grow that plant.

Tigers are the largest and the heaviest animal and national animal of India. It is so sad to know that the expected number of tigers in India is going decreased day by day. According to the recent survey in India it is noted that a sharp decline in their population to 1,411.

For sport, skins and body parts, Tigers are murdered. 3,500 tigers around the world and from them 1,411 are found from India according to World Wildlife Funds.

The Good news is that Indian government has come up with a new rule to punish the evil doers. Not only has that Aircel partnered with WWF-India to help "Save Our Tigers by creating a website http://saveourtigers.com/ where everyone can spread awareness by blogging, contributing and more. Even the Movie and Sports starts have come together to fight this cause.

The decline of hockey and the rise of cricket

HOCKEY, REGARDED as our national game, is on the verge of extinction. It is unable to regain momentum. No doubt, we were world-beaters in the golden era and commanded respect throughout the world, but where does our hockey stand today? Nowhere, if you take into consideration the statistics and our performance in hockey over a span of 25 years. That’s too long a period for a game enjoying national status. Today, cricket has emerged as a passion and religion in the country and has added to hockey’s woes.

People sing the ‘Chak De India’ song. On the other hand, the Indian Hockey Federation did nothing to exploit the film and popularise the game, which has been on the decline. The question is how a film on hockey can be a massive hit in the country while the game as such is on the decline! The big bosses of the game need to wake up before it is too late. But for now, like it or not, cricket is relishing its new-found status - as the nation’s first choice, head and shoulders above the rest!

I do not believe in flamboyance, or am not trying to say, that we should immediately go and leap before we look, yet we can make small differences, like every drop counts to make an ocean, we too can make a difference. We could start, by caring for our mother earth, by not exploiting her gifts, by reducing global warming, little deeds, could make a huge difference

There is so much that we can do..we just need a push..a start..a beginning..and then we can humn "nothings gonna stop us now" and nothing will and nothing can stop us then..
