I WISH HE COULD BE ALIVE............................

It was a common day for everyone but not for me n  my friend Saran's family. Saran my good friend because his quality of being there whenever he is needed by us all frnds.He always had a practical approach towards life that we should be ready for the unexpected n we all looked forward to it.The day i am talking about was the day the GERMAN BAKERY BLAST took place.He was studying there in Pune . I had a word with him about 2 days prior to the blast He told me about his plan of giving surprise to his parents by arriving Delhi his home on his b'day after 2 days.


We friends had great plans for him . I prepared to play guitar on his bash and Gaurav prepared his peculiar jokes. Amin ,Rakhi n Mudit took the charge of decoration.He finally gave us a call the day before the blast and promised to reach Delhi the very next day.I could not control my excitement n told his family about his plan of coming to his home on his b'day. On the fateful day I got a call from him that he has postponed his schedule for 1 day ahead as he has some important seminar to attend. I again gave him a call at around 6 in the evening in order to confirm whether he is coming or not. His PG room mate picked up the phone n said that he forgot his cell at home n has gone out to German Bakery to celebrate his b'day with his friends.


The moment I hang up the phone the world came to a still, what was appearing in front of me? Was nothing then an appalling reality. A newschannel showing breaking news " BLAST IN GERMAN BAKERY PUNE"
It left me shocked the first thought that came in my mind how would i tell his parents about it .I n order to inform them with a heavy heart i reached his home n found that have already been introduced to this bitter truth and the news which shocked me the most was SARAN WAS NO MORE...........
The whole house was ready to welcome him the next day his mom cooked gajar kaa halwaa for her son ,his dad bought a new guitar that saran always aspired for but the world came to an end for them.


Friends it is not only Saran but hundreds of people like him who leave their home whether to study or to make a career but not everyone is lucky. When the interogation moved forward we came to know that the bomb could have been traced if timely action would have been taken. The mumbai terror attacks r the best example of what our government is capable of. About a month back i heard this news that training sessions r being conducted all over the country for the POLICE in order to fight the terriost attacks but my question is...... WHERE WAS THIS TRAINING MISSING WHEN THE ATTACKS ACTUALLY HAPPENED AND CLAIMED THE LIFE OF THOUSANDS OF INNOCENT PEOPLE????????????????
